"On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. The found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightening, stood beside them. In their fright, the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, 'Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!"

Good Friday
Today, the kids and I, along with some neighborhood kids, made Resurrection Rolls in remembrance of Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection. We took a Grands biscuit or a crescent roll, that was symbolic of Jesus' tomb, and squished flat. We placed a marshmallow in the middle of the biscuit, which is representative of Jesus, all white and pure. We placed butter, cinnamon and sugar on "Jesus," which is is the oil and spices that anointed His body. We closed the "tomb" up tight and baked the rolls as the directions suggest. When they were done baking the marshmallow melted, so the tomb is empty. Parker really enjoyed this and Davis loved the finished product! Thanks be to Jesus!
